Rahul Kumar received his M.Tech degree from Jadavpur University and Ph. D. Degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He was with the Institute for Nanoscience and Engineering, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, USA during 10/2016 to 10/2020 as a Post Doctoral fellow. Dr. Kumar joined Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani in November 2020 and presently working as the Assistant Professor in the Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department. His research interest includes semiconductor physics and devices, nanofabrication, low dimensional semiconductors and microwave photonics. His research methodology involves challenging device problem at material level, understanding the physics and utilizing those physics to obtain a solution.
