Dr. Natasha Hazarika, joined the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) as an Assistant Professor on August 2024. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the City University of Hong Kong and was awarded the prestigious Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship (HKPF) by the Government of Hong Kong, along with The Chow Yei Ching Entrance Scholarship. She completed her postdoctoral research from the Dept. of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.

Dr. Hazarika holds Master of Science degrees in Environmental Science and Urban Environmental Management. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed, international journals, including Q1 and Q2 ranked journals such as the Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Sustainable Production and Consumption, Habitat International, and the International Journal of Water Resources Development. Her research interests lie at the intersection of environmental resources, environmental technologies, and public policy.
