Toby Joseph

About the Faculty

Dr. Toby Joseph completed his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in condensed matter physics. After postdoctoral work at the Institute for Computational Physics at the University of Stuttgart (2004), he moved to Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai (2005) as a postdoctoral fellow. He joined the physics department in 2006. His current research interests include: information thermodynamics, vortex lattice depinning, random walks in biological systems, social dynamics, nuclear transport  and theoretical neuroscience.
