Brief Profile
Dr. Hare Krishna Mohanta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering in BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan. He has obtained his B.E., MTech and PhD degrees (all in Chemical Engineering) from NIT Rourkela (1995), IIT Kanpur (1998), and BITS Pilani (2006), respectively. He has over 24 years of teaching & research experience and one-year industrial experience. He is a Life Member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) and a Member of Institution of Engineers (India). He has several publications in the international and national journals. His areas of research include process identification & control, design of soft sensors, process monitoring & control, reactive distillation design & control, nonlinear control & state estimation, modelling & simulation. He is associated with Bhakti vedanda Institute Kolkata since 2005 for synthesis of science and spirituality.
