About the Faculty
Dr. Debi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at BITS Pilani, Pilani campus. He has obtained PhD degree in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Hyderabad. He has more than eight years of post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience. His prime concern and aim for future teaching would emphasize providing high-quality research-based teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research interests are Macroeconomics, Energy Economics, Public Economics, Environmental Economics, and Applied Economics. Debi has published 30 papers that are listed in the ABDC journal ranking, Scopus, and SCI-listed journals.
