Awards: 

  • Selected for stratup funding worth 20 Lakh in the Indian Innovation Challenge design contest (IICDC 2017) sponsored by Texas Instrument (TI) and Department of Science and Technology (DST), Gov, of India. (This award was given to only 10 student teams out of 5049 from all over India, I was the mentor of that team).
  • Awarded Junior Research Fellowship and Senior Research Fellowship, by DeitY for PhD .
  • GATE Exam qualified: GATE 2011 (AIR=1356 out of 137853.)
  • Secured 8th and 11th position in PCB (Medical) and PCM (Engineering) group respectively in Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination-2004.

Research Area:

  • Design and development of Gallium oxide based devices for photodetector, power electronics applications.
  • Gallium nitride (GaN) based heterostructure devices.
  • Reliability investigation of GaN based devices.
