Dr. Shishir Kumar Pandey
Welcome! स्वागतम्!
My research centres on the development and application of computational methods in condensed matter physics to explore the structural, electronic, and magnetic properties of materials. I leverage accurate first-principles electronic structure methods along with a range of theoretical tools. My work encompasses both weakly and strongly correlated systems which include transitional metal compounds, semiconductors, and topological insulators. Our studies employed ab initio techniques, linear response methods, model Hamiltonian-based approaches, renormalization group methods, statistical simulations like Monte Carlo method, and machine learning. The goal of my research is to address cutting-edge questions in material science.
