This paper investigates the protein folding, unfolding, and refolding processes of the spike glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2 using a Rubik's cube-based statistical model. The study explores the thermodynamic interactions and kinetic behavior of various conformations of the spike protein in relation to its receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE-2).
